Who are we and why do we do it?
The Nursery on the net was created by a dedicated team headed by Shahn who is a qualified Early Years Teacher and Part Time University Lecturer. Having had her first child, Shahn wanted to pass on the information she had found most useful during her own experiences in conjunction with her professional knowledge. A fundamental tennet of Shahn's approach is promoting a best practice educational environment for all children whether in a school setting or at home.
The site itself is privately funded and will only generate income through its users if they purchase products from our selected commercial partners. We would ofcourse therefore encourage you to use the links to any companies you find on the site. Naturally there is no obligation, but any purchases you make will help us greatly.
